What are 3G Delight Options?
3G Delight pioneered the concept of accessing the Internet on SMART prepaid. This is specially designed for those that have no set pattern of usage and those that require access to the Internet for a large volume of data for a period anywhere from 1 day to 1 week. 3G Weekly Delight 75, 3G Daily Delight 50 and 3G Daily Delight 25 are available as options for all SMART customers. You can enjoy 3G Delight through your 3G phone, HSPA modem or HSPA enabled laptop.

3G Weekly Delight 75
3G Weekly Delight 75 is a new entrant into the prepaid 3G Delight suite. 3G Weekly Delight 75 gives you 200 MB of data which can be used within 7 days of activation at speeds up to 1 Mbps. This is especially convenient for users that require quick access to the Internet for sporadic periods.

3G Daily Delight 50
3G Daily Delight 50 is specially tailored for users who wish to experience the best of 3G on prepaid. This high speed mobile data connectivity service will enable you to send and receive up to 100 MB of data for free within a period of 24 hours at speeds up to 1 Mbps. Additionally, 3G Daily Delight 50 also comes with 100 free SMS’ and 100 minutes of video calls to be used within the said period.

3G Daily Delight 25
3G Daily Delight 25 is also a prepaid high speed mobile data connectivity service which gives you 50 MB of data for free at speeds up to 1 Mbps to be used within a period of 24 hours. This is ideal for users that surf the net for short but significant periods.

What are the charges applicable for 3G Delight?
3G Weekly Delight 75 – Rs. 75/- (+tax and levies) charged immediately after activation
3G Daily Delight 50 - Rs. 50/- (+tax and levies) charged immediately after activation
3G Daily Delight 25 - Rs. 25/- (+tax and levies) charged immediately after activation

How can I know whether my subscription is activated?
You will get a Text Message (SMS) confirming your subscription if 3G Delight was activated by dialling the short code. If you activated 3G Delight by calling 141, you will hear a voice recording confirming your subscription.

What will happen when my usage exceeds the entitled bundle of 50 MB, 100 MB or 200 MB?
You will be able to access 3.5G broadband via the normal Prepaid Broadband rate of Rs. 0.01 per kB. If you wish, you can extend the validity period of 3G Delight by reactivating the feature by dialling the required short codes or by calling 141.

Can I make multiple activations to get 3G Delight on the same day?
Yes. You can activate 3G Delight as many times as you wish as long as you have sufficient balance in your SMART account.

How do I know when my free limit of data ends?
You will receive a Text Message when you reach 90% of the free data limit. You will also receive separate SMS’ when you exhaust your free limit.

How is the validity period of 3G Delight counted?
The validity period will begin upon activation and the time left between the time of activation until midnight the same day will be counted as the first day. For example, if you activate the option at 10.00 PM you will get only 2 hours (between 2200-2400 hrs) as your first day; in the case of 3G Weekly Delight 75 the remaining data will be valid for a period of 6 days thereafter.

Can I check my data usage while using 3G Delight? 
Yes. You can check the remaining number of MBs in your 3G Delight feature by dialling #170#

Can I cancel the subscription to 3G Delight, once activated?
Yes. Just dial #170# and press 1 to deactivate the 3G Delight feature.

Is the data usage calculated for Downloading or Uploading or for both?
The data usage is calculated both for downloading and uploading.

What can I do with 100 MB of data?
You will be able to retrieve approximately 1000 Emails, download 25 MP3 Songs or browse over 300 web pages. (These are just indicative figures and the actual values may vary depending on the size of each unit illustrated in the above example)

I am a Mobitel Postpaid user. Can I use 3G Daily Delight and 3G Weekly Delight?
3G Weekly Delight 75, 3G Daily Delight 50 and 3G Daily Delight 25 are exclusive options available for Mobitel Prepaid customers. As such, you cannot activate 3G Delight with your postpaid number. However, if you have a HSDPA modem or laptop with built-in HSDPA, you can purchase a SMART SIM and enjoy the 3G Delight features.
