Recharge Options
One of the great benefits of having a SMART connection is that it is so easy to recharge your account, in whichever way is most convenient for you. Four easy SMART options to top up your SMART account means you need never run out of credit.
Recharge Cards
Recharge cards are available in a range of denominations such as Rs. 100/-, Rs. 350/-, Rs. 500/- and Rs. 1000/- to suit your requirements. SMART Recharge cards can only be used once.
After the number is scratched off and entered into the phone it cannot be used again. When you buy a SMART recharge card please make sure the panel at the back of the card is intact and has not already been scratched and used. SMART Recharge cards are valid for 180 days from the time you enter the card into your phone or until the balance runs out, whichever comes first.
Once the account reaches Rs.0/- the SMART account will remain active for 14 days before getting disconnected completely. A fresh validity period will be applicable every time your SMART account is recharged. SMART Recharge cards are available at Mobitel branches, Singer Mega outlets, SLT Teleshops, SLT Regional Offices, authorized dealers, post offices and retail shops islandwide.
SMART Reload
 This facility was introduced recently to offer greater convenience to our SMART pre-paid customers. This feature is available with the retail outlets. SMART Reload is a mechanism where customer can top up their SMART pre-paid accounts electronically with the flexibility to reload from Rs. 20/- to Rs. 2990/-.
Reload through banks (SMART E-Reload)
Mobitel customers banking with Hatton National Bank (HNB), Sampath Bank and Commercial Bank can now reload their SMART pre-paid account through a simple SMS. For more details and for registration, visit your Mobitel, HNB, Sampath or Commercial Bank Branch.

SMART Share
 An offering by Mobitel enabling Mobitel pre-paid subscribers to transfer a portion of his/her available balance to any other Mobitel pre-paid users. This service is a transfer of balance and is different from SMART Reload facilitated through a retailer where the subscriber account is topped-up.
SMART users could transfer or gift credit within their circle of family and friends. They could transfer credit or balance from Rs.10/- upwards.
