Mobitel wins over Royal Ceramics

Mobitel, the national mobile service provider is to provide total mobile solutions to Royal Ceramics Lanka Limited, a company renowned for providing high quality surfacing solutions.

Nimal Perera, Managing Director, Royal Ceramic Lanka Limited speaking on the significance of choosing Mobitel as their solutions provider said: "We chose Mobitel because of the reliability that it carries as well as it being a strong and dynamic brand. Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom. In January 2004, the company launched its fully-fledged GSM network that is EDGE/GPRS enabled and designed to operate on dual bands. Investments committed to date in its 3G and GSM service offering a total of over US$ 200mn and are set to increase its present 600 base stations by the end of this year.
